More than 130 United Teachers Los Angeles members who work at El Camino Real (ECR) Charter High School went on strike for five days in February, walking picket lines in the rain to win the smaller class sizes their students deserve. "It's exciting and scary but totally worth it because we have the best kids ever and they deserve the best teachers," said ECR English teacher Laura Casares.
