Around a quarter of California children experience food insecurity, and a similar proportion of college students are going hungry as well. According to a 2015 national report by No Kid Hungry, educators who regularly see students come to school hungry describe multiple problems among them, such as inability to concentrate, lack of energ y and motivation, poor academic performance, tiredness, and behavioral problems.
