NACCD A Year of Purpose, a Lifetime of Practice F E B R U A R Y I S Black History Month. The 2022 theme is "Black Health and Wellness," which acknowledges both the legacy of Black scholars and medical practitioners in Western medicine and other ways of knowing (e.g., midwives, naturopaths, herb- alists, etc.) throughout the African diaspora. And as Black Lives Matter at School declares, 2022 is a year of purpose. BLM at School is a national movement that calls on all of us to have honest conversations about racist policies and practices that affect our students and schools — and to take action. Find ways you can get involved, and curriculum and resources for your classroom and commu- nity, at cta.org/blm, blacklivesmatteratschool.com and neaedjustice.org/black-lives-matter-at-school.
