Correction In the sidebar of the State Council story on page 31 of the November Educator, we erroneously reported that Sue Cirillo was one of three new NEA Board members elected by Council. In fact, Sonia Martin-Solis was the new NEA director elected for District 6/14 (Sue Cirillo was elected to the NEA Board last year). We should also have reported that new NEA Director Kendall Vaught’s term expires on Aug. 31, 2012. “Kids will rise to whatever you expect of them. I set my expectations very high.” Badger Springs Middle School Counselor Faye Arco DECEMBER 2009 • JANUARY 2010 | www.cta.org 5 calendar
