I T M I G H T B E your ability to spark students' imaginations in a single lesson, command rapt attention from fidgety children, or decipher the code to learning in the teen brain. It could be the way you make sure kids arrive safely, stay healthy, or get along on the playground. Some educators are idealists and dreamers, Makers and mentors. Oth- ers are nurturers, advocates, explorers. Your skills — your superpowers — and the knowledge you impart make a profound impact on our young people. And although one adult can be influential for a student, we know it takes all of us — education support professionals, K-12 teachers, col- lege faculty and parents — to provide the public education our students deserve.
