STUDENTS FOR OUR UNITED CALIFORNIA EDUCATORS Day of the Teacher, National School Nurse Day and ESP Day are all about honoring and celebrating the work that teachers, nurses and education support professionals do every day, and the support and guidance they give to our students. Our theme this year, "California Educators United for Our Students," also acknowledges what we can accomplish together in our union, including organizing for the best working and learning conditions in our public schools. Get ready to celebrate California Day of the Teacher on May 8, National School Nurse Day on May 8, and CTA ESP Day on May 21! A few ways to show your appreciation: • Post this poster in your classroom, school hallway or other public area. • Have students make and deliver cards to their school educators. • Join your local chapter 's celebrations and attend upcoming union meetings and actions. • Consider food, gift cards and other items to make the days special. • Use hashtags in school and chapter social media messages of gratitude: #DayoftheTeacher, #SchoolNurseDay and #ESPDay.
